WC Pool 2026 ("we", "us", "our") is a free-to-play bracket prediction game for the FIFA World Cup 2026. We are not affiliated with FIFA. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the service:

• Email address — used to create and identify your account.
• Display name — shown on leaderboards and in pools.
• Bracket picks — your group rankings and knockout predictions, stored to calculate your score.
• Usage data — basic server logs (page requests, timestamps) for debugging and security. No tracking pixels or advertising scripts.

How we use your information

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To store and score your bracket predictions.
• To display your name and rank on leaderboards within pools you have joined.
• To send transactional emails (sign-in codes, pool invites). We do not send marketing emails.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with row-level security enabled. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Supabase's infrastructure is hosted on AWS in the United States.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. No third-party analytics or advertising cookies are set.

Your rights

You may request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Correct inaccurate information.

Children

WC Pool 2026 is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
